Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to the VerdictIQ marketing website and, where applicable, the use of the VerdictIQ enrichment API and related products. Enterprise customers may have a separate signed agreement that takes precedence over these Terms.
Acceptance
By accessing the website or using the product you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for safeguarding API keys and account credentials. Activity carried out with your credentials is attributed to your account.
Notify us promptly at security@verdictiq.io if you suspect a credential is exposed.
Acceptable use
You may use the service to enrich and triage IOCs in support of legitimate cybersecurity work. You may not use the service in a way that violates law, infringes rights, or harms others.
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, probe its security except under our published vulnerability disclosure policy (see the Trust page), or use it to attack third parties.
Restricted use
Bulk extraction through the discovery surface is prohibited. The Infrastructure Pivot endpoint returns sample results sized for analyst review and product evaluation; you may not use it to recreate a feed by paginating, looping, or rotating filters with the intent of full export. This restriction targets the pivot/discovery use; the bulk enrichment endpoint (/enrich_bulk) for legitimate batch enrichment of known IOCs remains permitted under your plan limits.
You may not resell, redistribute, or republish raw API responses as a substitute service. Use within your own SOC, MSSP, or CTI workflow is permitted.
You may not submit data containing personal information beyond what is necessary to enrich the IOC.
Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed under the pricing terms shown at signup or in your contract. Free-tier quotas are provided at our discretion and may change with reasonable notice.
Final pricing for enterprise customers is set in the signed order form.
Intellectual property
VerdictIQ retains all rights in the service, including verdicts, signal taxonomies, software, and documentation.
You retain rights in the IOCs and inputs you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the service.
Warranties and disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, except as expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Verdicts are decision support, not legal or compliance certifications. You are responsible for actions taken on the basis of a verdict.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising out of the service.
Our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, for free-tier users, the equivalent of one hundred US dollars.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, abuse of the service, or where required by law. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance unless doing so would cause harm.
You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity contracting with you. The applicable jurisdiction and venue are set in the signed order form for enterprise customers.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the website. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
